SUPANOVA 2008 PERTH

I printed out my photos and made some signs for NEXUS toy fair and got to go see the opening of the SUPANOVA pop culture convention last night.

Looks to be a well organised event hopefully they will get a big turnout and be back next year.

I met Ben Templesmith (Perth born comic artist) and was lucky enough to get a cool signed poster from his latest comic.

Walked away from a conversation with a wierdo girl who claimed toys are "actually action figures" 

and that summed up how completely nerdy all the people there were.

A must for any Sci-Fi movie fan or  comic book lover for sure.

MADMAN have a massive stall.

There is a real WRESTLING RING in the middle of the sellers area with local wrestlers duking it out!

Get ready to line up for autographs and photo ops with the guests.

They are also screening LOTS of good ANIME and moves with the new STARGATE movie being screened only in PERTH.

I am not sure if I am actually going this weekend, its all a bit mega nerdy for my liking. I'll stick to toys. The ALIEN Kubrick was very cool!
